In the stillness of the night
you are a beacon of light

A small ray of sunshine
to brighten my day.

A spark of laughter
to make me smile.

No matter the darkness of despair
the sorrow, or the pain

You help me see through
the coldness, the loneliness
and give me life again!
 

In the stillness of the night
you give me a desire to go on

A glimmer of hope
of things to come

A chance to wish
that life could change

No matter how bleak life seems
the worries, the woes

The weight of the world
seems much lighter and
you make me want to live again!
