Oh What A feeling

Have you ever stood upon a mountain side
breathing in the cool crisp air?
Feeling the warm sun upon your skin,
while listening to the sounds of nature?
 
The feeling of tranquility fills your inner soul
closing your eyes,  you take one deep breath
and soon feel as though you become part
of the wonderful nature around you!
 
Oh what a wonderful feeling!!
To let the stresses of life go
and leave all your worries and woes
upon that majestic mountain side!
 
You hear the breeze whistle thru the trees
the chirping birds, the hum of insects,
the bees buzzing here and there and
it is so peaceful you could just fall asleep!
 
You open your eyes to see snowcapped mountains
the green green grass, the colorful blossoms,
standing staring at this awesome site
it is a picture you will not soon forget!
 
You smell the freshness in the air
the hint of blossoms, the hint of pine
and you fill your mind with hope
to keep the memory of this moment in time!
