A Mother's Love
on one and have written a poem
that I've dedicated to my son..
My heart aches watching you
as you struggle to be free
from the terrible disorders
that has plagued you and me...
If only I could help you
release you from your pain
I would do it in a minute
to help you feel sane!
I will search everyday
to find an answer for you,
to stop your agony
and let the sun shine through..
I will read all the text
I will pray to God
I will find an answer
to remove this hex!
You can throw it away...or do something good.
You can make someone happy, or make someone sad,
What have you done with the day that you had?
God gave it to you to do just
as you would,
You can do what is wicked, or
do what is good;
You can hand out a smile, or
just give 'em a frown,
You can lift someone up, or
push someone down,
You can lighten some load, or
progress impede,
You can look for a rose, or
just gather some weed.
What did you do with your beautiful
day?
God gave it to you, did you
throw it away?
you'll find a place called long ago and not so far away
A place of happy endings and of dreams that allways come true
A place where the grass is allways green and the sky is allways
blue.
A place of mystery and makebelieve of rainbows,unicorns
and doves
But most of all this place is a place filled
with love,
and if you close your eyes my dears
you'll see that what I've said is true
For if you stay young at heart this place
will forever remain in you.
