Hey, my name is Julie and I wrote this poem for
my best friend Alex for Christmas. Some of the stanza's
are funny but that's only because I had trouble getting
the words to write, lol. Thanks! :-)


Thank You

The year has gone by extremly fast
Quicker than either of us could have thought
Now that it's Christmas my mind turns to the past
In middle school, where many friendships were sought

Some of which you might not have kept in touch
But then there's always the one
Who you care for so much
The one you will always care for a ton

A friend who is always there, no matter what
The greateast friend on who you can always count
Even if I am a nut
Yet, sometimes, as time passes things can mount

Like problems, but of course that friend is there
To guide you through those troubling times
You survive, happier than ever, floating on air
(Hey, I'm getting pretty good at these rhymes)

Now in high school everything is great
But if there is a problem; her shoulder she is always ready tolend
As for the future; I still don't know my fate
But I know my friend will be there till the end

Because all-in-all she's the best anyone could ever ask for
She means more to me than I could ever say
In a story or a letter, it doesn't matter how many more
You could come up with; but today

I'm tring as hard as I can
To tell her she means the world to me
And so much more; I'm her bigest fan
She just needs to see

That she is the best, I should write it in Italics
I just want to say thank you and I love ya Alex
