Bravely they went, saw and conquered
Seven brave men and women true
Even though their ship was ruptured
What they did was for me and you.
It is in mankind’s inquisitive nature
To venture where he has never been
And it is heroes who make the journey
As we all have recently seen.
Just try to imagine the courage
It takes to ride the demon machine
To take brave men and women
To where they have never been.
To all who say we should not venture
From the safety of this planet of ours
No where is 100% safe in the universe
And attention is drawn to the twin towers.
As we mourn the loss of Columbia
Let us celebrate the lives of it’s crew
For they knowingly gave their lives for mankind
Those seven brave men and women true.
