When God called to take "T" home,
He gave us no warning at all.
He just took him to his Heavenly home,
So he could teach others how to play ball.
"T" owned the field every time he took it,
No matter what position he played.
From pitching to shortstop, to second & third,
And even behind home plate.
"T" was an awesome ball player
with a talent for the game.
And it didn't stop on that day
that he heard God call his name.
Because now he's playing on God's team,
And God definitley chose the best.
The team will play their hardest,
And "T" will take care of the rest.
There's an All Star in Heaven tonight,
playing the game he loved.
God chose this very unique All Star
To play on the Heavenly field up above.
DANCE FOR YOUR MOM.
PLAY BALL FOR YOUR DAD.
BE CALEB'S GUARDIAN ANGEL.
This is a poem I wrote for my nephew, Tommy "T" Stover,
who was killed in a car accident on April 30th, 2004,
just one week before his 16th birthday.
May 7th, 1988- April 30th, 2004
